The Columbia Undergraduate Journal of History is a publication of the Undergraduate History Council at Columbia University. The Herbert Aptheker Undergraduate History Conference was held on the evening of Tuesday, February 10th at Columbia University. We thank Keisha Benjamin, Barnes Hauptfuhrer, and Jeffrey Martin for their thought-provoking presentations, as well as Professors Mio Matsumoto, Eric Foner, and Elizabeth Blackmar for their probing commentaries and support of the journal.
